A proud mum of two ..with far too many plants at home!
Looking for simple ways to make plant care easier yet keeping it modern and lightweight, I started designing selfwatering pots for myself.
What began as a small idea, at first using my husband’s 3D printer quickly turned into a full creative adventure and somehow ended with me taking over his whole workshop.. with now far too many printers!

How it works
My misskrauti selfwatering system
Water level indicator
A water drop-shaped opening on the back of every pot lets you easily check the water level.
Bottom access
A small opening underneath every pot allows you to gently push the water reservoir out of the pot - whenever necessary
Innerpots and capillary wick
The combination of inner pot and water reservoir cup fits perfectly inside the 3D-printed cover, while ensuring good air circulation as the inner pot sits slightly elevated on the cover. The wicking rope delivers just the right amount of water to your plant.
Both the wicking rope and inner pots are made of reusable plastics, which can be easily cleaned.
Humidity dome
Boost your misskrauti pots with a clever support ring! Add a cup as a humidity dome on top to give your plants extra moisture and a cozy microclimate. No more tape, no more temporary fixes:
